Dante Granville has been very fortunate to be incarcerated in a prison that offered such deep, healing work as was demonstrated in The Work. How has his story, and the level of work being offered through The Inside Circle Foundation’s Men’s Group inspired you?

Andrew Camargo of the School of Modern Soul Science offered his wisdom and knowledge in discussing the shamanic archetype and alchemy, spiritual warfare, and the role of Ego in shamanic expression. He also offered a modern definition of shamanism. Do you have any questions or insights to offer TUS readers after taking in this profound interview?

I found it very interesting, but I think “we need to discuss” oneness and dualism a bit further 🙂 The concept of oneness doesn’t end with solipsism, if so that’s just a “paradox wall” that hides what oneness is for the searcher of truth. Dualism exists because oneness is what allows anything to exist. It doesn’t end with a dualistic limit of the…[Read more]

Being adept at the mysteries of sexuality is a legitimate role that some shamanic individuals express. Can you relate to this facet of the shamanic archetype?

Did the interview with Lisa Wheeler, LPC inspire you? Did it evoke thoughts or feelings you want to share here? Did it leave you with questions, or insights?

At the end of David Lagunas article, it looks like there is supposed to be a link to audio interview….but i don’t find one. Is it just because of my Mac (vs other systems), or is the link missing?

This is a great place to discuss the article on the entheogenic use of cannabis!

My article/thesis on why urban shamans must be alchemists went live today.
https://theurbanshaman.online/why-the-urban-shaman-must-be-an-alchemist/What do you think? Did this raise ideas, questions, resistance?
Why do you think our standards are higher for urban shamans? Does power and our concepts of our own power contribute to the…[Read more]

I think you’re really on to something. I’ve spent quite some time trying to understand the mythological expressions and translate them for myself in order to understand them in a contemporary way. They are “science” with a symbolical expression just as our time’s science are full of symbolical language that we understand today but will become…[Read more]

I want to post this discourse that occurred last night on The Urban Shaman Facebook Page. It was in response to the article interview with Sue Kullerd. https://theurbanshaman.online/practitioner-spotlight-sue-kullerd-lpc-and-shaman/

Me too, Beatrix! I do have Lightworker friends, and it’s kinda funny, because my one close girlfriend- I call her a “shaman”, and she tells me it’s not a title she’s comfortable in assuming because it feels ego-tied to her. But she calls me an “angel”, and says I am of the angelic realm, and I tell her that’s not a title I am comfortable in…[Read more]

It made me change my view of lightworkers. I’ve been guilty of dismissing them as too one-sided and naive. But no, we’ve all got something to bring to the table.
Comparing shamans to berserkers did make me smile. It was a good read.

I’ve just watched the Griefwalker and it was beautiful. I work with elderly so I encounter death quite a bit, and I’ve always felt comfortable around it. It does frustrate me how we don’t want to talk about it in the West. This film has really resonated and changed the way I think about some approaches to the dying. So thank you. I did check out…[Read more]
